It's much too hot for fire breathing. Any sensible dragon would prefer to spray water! Especially if that sensible dragon had an Uncle Paul and a Poppy! I pruned the lemon tree today, on a very hot day. I would gladly share the 13 lemons I brought down with the water spraying dragon. We could open a lemonade stand, and no one would DARE not buy from us! If they walked away without buying, we would roar "PUFF!!!"
Love the video. "...sailed away in the autumn mist...." Maybe that's where the water came from. I listened to Peter, Paul and Mommy all day. Thanks to you for inspiring that purchase. It's hot here in Walnut Creek, CA, too. We need more water-spraying dragons. Asa is onto something.
Author Susan Wittig Albert has written a few books about the beloved childrens' writer Beatrix Potter, and includes conversations with the animals who served as Potter's inspirations for her work. (think Rita Mae and Sneaky Pie, in Edwardian garb)... The Tale of Oat Cake Crag mentions the difficulties a young dragon has while visiting his friends the badgers, and how hard it is to bank one's dragonly fires!
