Grandparents, part 1

Because, given the sheer quantity of pictures taken, there's no way this is going to be a single blog post.

We arrived in the early-afternoon, PDT, and after an already-full day of sitting still, Asa ran around literally squealing for joy.  And then - either because he heard us talking or because sometimes children have an eerie sixth sense, he ran straight to where his California Car-Car was hidden.




That was only the beginning of the backyard adventures!  There were oranges and rosemary to harvest:






Gravel to rearrange and give to Granna...

And room to just run around and play.

And that was just the backyard!

  1. Ah, Rosemary... the gift that keeps on being given! I love the post, and hope its views of the back yard will keep Auntie Jen off my back for a bit longer! (smile, Jen!) Planted nasturtiums, cosmos, CA poppies today, and transplanted those hanging containers of Fuschia into a huge deep pot.
