We arrived in the early-afternoon, PDT, and after an already-full day of sitting still, Asa ran around literally squealing for joy. And then - either because he heard us talking or because sometimes children have an eerie sixth sense, he ran straight to where his California Car-Car was hidden.
That was only the beginning of the backyard adventures! There were oranges and rosemary to harvest:
Gravel to rearrange and give to Granna...
And room to just run around and play.
And that was just the backyard!
Ah, Rosemary... the gift that keeps on being given! I love the post, and hope its views of the back yard will keep Auntie Jen off my back for a bit longer! (smile, Jen!) Planted nasturtiums, cosmos, CA poppies today, and transplanted those hanging containers of Fuschia into a huge deep pot.
