March Warm Weather!

When the weather warms up, Mummy gardens, even when moving is imminent.  (Hey, we're still living here, right?)  No new plants this year, but the beds got raked and the yard cleaned up.

Asa was inspired to his own sorts of gardening:  he took my piles apart, and made dried milkweed and bee balm stalks into "a nest for you, Mummy."  With a bucket and a watering can, no less!

He also dug in what was once our vegetable garden, making a hole which could be filled with water (bucket and watering can left the nest).  The mud seems to have claimed an ambulance, but fortunately we were careful and it didn't end up being an issue.

It's really something of a leap for Asa to get this dirty; he's not usually a fan of being slimy or sticky or mucky. For this project, however, he made an exception.

It's not 80° anymore, but we're ready for it when it comes again!
